Old McDonald's Family Farm offers hands-on farming education to reconnect future generations to the land.
This session allows students to explore everything that the farm has to offer in a safe and fun way. Students will be intrigued with our four focus areas: planting, animal care, natural play, and farm practices. From seeding veggies, to animal meet and greets, to tool demonstrations and balancing on logs students will be deeply rooted in this unique experience. Aside from their new knowledge about small scale farming, students will also bring home a seedling they planted themselves. The skills and knowledge gained from this visit will bring nourishment and smiles long after they return home.
