BARNYARD FRIENDS
Fancy Coop & Laying Coop
In the summer of 2024 we rebuilt our chicken coop as the old one was sinking into the ground a bit. Our layer flock consists of red sex link, easter egger, opa legbar, and barnyard mix.
Our Fancy Coop is home to any chicks that have hatched. It also houses our sweet silkie and polish chickens.
FARM ROLE: To wake us up before sunrise each morning with fresh eggs as well as provide minimal tilling and compost.
Duck Coop
Our ducks hatched out some ducklings in the spring of 2024 so we had to built them a brand new, larger coop. Most of our ducks are Ancona, however they seem to have a bit of welsh harlequin in them as well.

THE BUNNY BUNKER
Home to our first barnyard friend. Ramone was our household pet back in the city life days. Now he spends his days with his 3 girlfriends running around enjoying the outdoors while we sleep.
FARM ROLE: Providing the night life at the farm as well as great instant fertilizer
THE PIG PEN
You can huff and you can puff, but you cant pass up the opportunity to meet this gang. Meet Dozer, Dolly, Petunia, and Penelope. All are juliana/ pot belly pigs or better known as miniature pig. Did you know pigs are some of the smartest animals on earth. Many people have them has pets in there house like a dog!
FARM ROLE: Bring cuteness to the farm and lots of tilling power.
