My name is Lisa McDonald, I am the owner and operator of Old McDonald's Family Farm. My husband and I started our farm business in 2020 with a vision of inspiring the next generation of farmers. We've spent the last few years learning and connecting with our land all while trying to share it with our community as much as possible. Hosting this summer camp is an absolute dream come true. I can't wait to share our farm with your children this summer!

Children will spend time with animals including chickens, ducks, bunnies, pigs and sheep. Children will experience the joy and happiness of caring for livestock. There will also be lots of time spent participating in wilderness activities, natural play and of course free time on the farm!

I am SO excited to partner with R-C Serre to offer this summer camp to our community. She brings an abundance of hands on child care experience as well as wilderness and foraging knowledge! She is an artist, macramé extraordinaire, and owner of "Toutes les couleurs de la serre".

Focal Point Artistry- Jessica will be attending one of our camp days to bring a creative paint & indigenous teaching experience to our campers!

Together we will have a wonderful summer filled with farming, learning and playing.

How does registration and payment work?

1. Click the "register now" button at the top of this page

2. Purchase the nonrefundable summer camp experience deposit- $100.00

3. We will send you a registration form to complete

4. Send the remainder at your leisure by June 22, 2024 - 30 days before the first day of camp

What is the cancellation policy

-Reserve your child's summer camp experience with a nonrefundable $100 deposit.

-Remainder is due by June 22, 2024 which is also nonrefundable.

is lunch provided?

No, campers bring their own lunch plus 2 snacks (one for the morning and one for the afternoon). Please ensure all food is nut-free.

is there before and after care available

Yes, we offer before and after care from 8:00am-9:00am and 4:00pm- 5:00pm at an extra fee of $40. It can be conveniently booked through the registration link above.

Do you charge HST?

No, there are no taxes. As a camp, we do not have to collect HST. So, we don't collect them in order to keep camp fees as low as possible.
