Yes we did!
After more then 20 years in the hospitality industry we decided to leave our top level management positions and start our family farm.

The farm was purchased in 2015 by Lisa's parents with hopes of restoring it to a working farm after years of sitting idle.
In early 2019, no longer feeling that our careers were very rewarding and now starting a family, we decided it was time to make a big change .
With a strong love of the outdoors and a passion for creating experiences we started to research market gardening and homesteading. We started to create a plan that would consist of a year round farm attraction.
In the spring of 2019, we planted our first 500 Christmas Trees which we hope to be able to share with families in about 5 years.
We made the big move in March of 2020. As we drove the u-haul North on March 15, unprecedented shut downs started as the COVID-19 Pandemic was in full swing. We pushed through a tough year and focused on learning as much as we could about the land in front of us.
By no means do we consider ourselves experts or even seasoned farmers, however we have a lot of love and determination and look forward to growing with our new community and sharing in family memories for generations to come.
